Premonition of War: The Marawi Siege in 2016
Tip: I know your time is precious, so I highlighted (in several colors) the passages I like that you may also like. And bolded, underlined, or italicized those I think are the important words or phrases.
I was at the rooftop meditating, and when I opened my eyes, a vision appeared as I looked at the Lanao lake and the Marawi downtown lights.
I saw the bombs explode the city, but I did not believe what I saw. I ignored it until I graduated from the University and started my journey outside Marawi.
That vision was forgotten because I did not believe it will happen until I heard the news about a terrorist attack at Marawi City. I haven't remembered that vision until I, my family went to the University before the war ended. I took a bath when I heard the planes dropped bombs and then exploded. My vision became fresh as I listened to the sound of explosions while I prayed for the safety of the people and the end of the war.

Usually, this part of the College is crowded, but the war caused the students to stay inside their rooms. |
I don't know why I did not feel any fear as we went near the war zone. The place that was once very crowded and traffic looked like a ghost town. I saw white clothes hung in many empty houses (which may mean somebody died in that place or peace). It was very heartbreaking looking at the present and future (specifically after the war) situation of the place while we are on our way to the University.
It was the first time I haven't seen a single student roaming around the campus which is not doubtful. I felt empty as we continue our way to our boarding house (called cottage by MSUans because of the Lanao Lake overview) and as I went into the room, my sister and I have stayed for around a year and a half. On the rooftop of the building in 2016, after some meditation was where I saw bombs blowing up the city that caused a huge fire, but I neglected that vision because I did not believe it was possible.
Sometimes I want to blame myself for why I did not share that vision. It might have helped the authorities, but who would believe in things without visible evidence? That vision looked clear, but I don't have many details about when and how it will happen so I remained silent. The only thing I did was pray that won't happen. Unfortunately, that vision became a reality.
Hopefully, those who'll experience such vision (or other vision that may affect many lives) will share what they see. It might help the authorities become prepared that may lessen the damages. Write those visions as you see them, and don't just ignore them the way I did.
Your vision might be the solution to the problems of the nations.
