Venturing into Network Marketing

Let me begin this with a story from the past.

Around eight years ago, my high school friend reached out. He was inviting me to become part of the business he is involved in.

Pyramiding and scams are rampant at that time. I was not convinced with what he offered, so I declined.

Two years later, he messaged me again for the same reason. At that time, I asked for more details about the business. I checked the website he gave, but it was not functioning well. I also checked if the business is registered in the Securities and Exchange Commission(SEC). Thankfully, it is, but I am not yet convinced with their products and services, so I rejected the opportunity.

Three years passed (the year 2019). He contacted me again. That time, I am ready to say yes to his business. Unfortunately, the pandemic ruined my plans. 

I got a new job and relocated. The year 2020 was very challenging. Lockdowns, quarantines, and a lot of protocols retracted economic movement. 

Then the digital world was discovered and utilized by brick and mortar businesses. 

Most business transactions today are done in the online world. Doing business is easier today than in the past. 

With my busy schedule, I forgot about my high school friend's business until my workmate asked about the legitimacy of a business he was invited to invest in.

Luckily, it was the same business that my friend persistently offered to me. My workmate was very interested in the business but doesn't have enough money to pay for the membership with products included. 

I contacted my high school friend to know if he can help my workmate, but all he can offer is a discount. Convinced by how my friend answered my questions, I decided to get into the business and have a verbal contract with my workmate.

My friend created a Facebook page for our team. 

I also created a different Facebook page to share financial education quotes called ReforMEd that means Reforming Money Education. The purpose of this page is to help open the mind of the people who seek financial growth and help them prosper. The story of why we chose that word will be posted/published soon. Currently, the post there is only one, but I'll create more once the products arrive. I'll schedule the dates of the posting of the picture quotes in vacant time.

Somebody asked me, "why networking?" 

I am venturing into network marketing because I am now knowledgeable of the difference between pyramiding. 

I am convinced with their claim that their products are Halal and Kosher certified too.

I am not sure where this venture will take me, but I will think positively (as usual).
