A Job Seeker 's Journey - A Poem
A Job Seeker 's Journey
I’m tired.
I did my best.
I spent a lot.
But it was not enough.
I woke up very early.
I don’t want to be late.
I rode a 4 a.m. van on the first day.
So yes! I arrived early.
I was not able to eat,
till the interview ended.
I left the office with a task on my head.
I rushed to accomplish it and left.
On the second day,
I rode a bus to not feel dizzy.
“This is the day of my OJE.”
That’s what I said to me.
That OJE (On The Job Experience) made me more excited.
I got very enthusiastic to make it.
The marketing plan for your outlet,
That tomorrow I must submit.
It was the third day.
The consecutive travelling exhausted my body.
My brain got lazy.
But something is still pushing me.
My tasks were done successfully, thank God.
The pre-employment requirements have been submitted.
I was so excited to be trained.
But the waiting, expecting and pain isn’t over yet.
